Subject browsing answers a different question from search. Search answers “I know the title”; browsing answers “I know the field”. Start at the discipline, narrow to the sub-discipline, and the resources appear beneath both columns.
A resource can sit under several subjects at once, so the counts across a column add up to more than the catalogue holds. That is the cross-listing working, not an error.
